Sam Wolfe

SAM WOLFE is the youngest, hottest-rising ticket in techno town. All eyes and ears are on the global launch of Atlanta’s beloved Sam WOLFE, whose sound is a purifying blend of aggressive, big, and driving-dark energy.

His 2020 debut EP ‘Triangulum’ soaring to become the Beatport #1 overall-release. Stealing the attention of Spanish powerhouse-producers & founders of Reload Records, The YellowHea- ds and Sam Wolfe went straight to the studio. The debut collaboration “Hippodrome” climbed to Beatport’s #4 spot on Techno Hype and #16 on Techno World Top-100; while receiving support from genre legends, specially UMEK. Then the WOLFE’s debut “Graveyard March” EP on Christian Smith’s Tronic becoming his second Beatport #1 overall-release and receiving support from Bart Skils, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Steve Lawler, Monika Kruse, Oliver Huntemann, Tocadisco, and Claude VonStroke. He successfully manages to cross over to other genre’s dance floors with his music playing around the world by Trance and Progressive House giants Markus Schulz, Armin van Buuren,Tiësto, Ben Gold, Genix, & Paul Thomas.

2021 continuing into another record-breaking year with the WOLFE’s first chart-topping EP of the year, “7AM” on T-Minus Records. Succeeded by “The Gorge” on Sasha Carassi’s Phobiq, the “Adrenaline Machine” EP on Oliver Huntemann’s Senso Sounds, and “Reservoir” on Nora En Pure’s Purified Records. The icing on the cake, his “Prison Break” EP featuring the mesmerizing vocals from Andrea Garcia; breaking records in streaming numbers and dance floor plays, prominently in Germany.

A smashing 2022 arrives with the Wolfe headlining 32 renowned stages across the globe; Seismic Dance Event, NOVA Toronto, Halcyon San Francisco, LiveNation’s The Roxy Atlanta, and Miami’s The Groove Cruise. Sharing stages with Deborah De Luca, Layton Giordani, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Boris Brejcha, and Charles D. Releasing the “Out of Phase” EP to kickoff 2023, a dance floor destroyer featuring Anadi and Gāuri, and headlining a CRSSD Spring Festival after-party for his 14th show of the year. Keep those eyes and ears on the WOLFE, big-bad things are on the way and you’re gonna like it.

C-Star

C-Star is known for her high-energy performances that provide a captivating and unifying experience. She has a love for dark and acid techno with pounding rhythms, bringing a lively texture to her sets.

She currently holds a DJ residency with Vantek and Gorg-O-Mish, as well as with the Raised by Raves team. C-Star has played at numerous gigs, festivals, and clubs; gracing the decks in Vancouver, Victoria, Toronto, and Montreal.

She has been booked with well-respected artists such as Mark Broom, Brennen Grey, Lee Ann Roberts, John Fleming, Michael Klein, HNTR, D-Unity, Atroxx, and Kuvoka.

Robotic Romance

Robotic Romance started in 2021 when Techno producers Jordan Laframboise and Shinichi Wong met at a Vancouver beach party.

One thing led to another and the pair found themselves in the studio playing around with drum machines and hardware. This led to the pair starting to play B2B, with Shin adding his unique jazz background and live synths to Jordan’s hypnotic and heavy play style, forming Robotic Romance.

The pair are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with. With there upcoming release on Groundwerk, along with upcoming shows in Mexico, Vancouver and abroad, we can’t wait to see what they will do next.

Joel West

Joel West has been on opening support for international touring talent like Mark Broom, Coyu, Spartaque, Layton Giordani, Julia Govor, MSTRKRFT, MAEDON, D-Unity, Dave Angel, Gene Farris, Ardalan, Kevin & Dantiez Saunderson, DJ Heather, and others in venues such as Vantek, Open Studios, MIA, Gorgomish, The Beaumont Studios, The Hifi Club, and more. Joel has played multiple times at Shambhala, Electric Love Festival, Festivus, and FozzyFest. In 2018, Joel played Melkweg in Amsterdam during ADE. Joel has released music on Kneaded Pains, Unity, Coincidence, Space Kraft, No Match, Superfreq, Groundwerk, Kiko, Play, Air Texture, RF, East Van Digital, Nuevadark, Cuete, and Woodwork.

Joel is a co-founder of Groundwerk and the label head at Groundwerk Recordings. Joel produces techno and frequently plays his own music in his DJ sets. When not working with music, you can find Joel acting in TV, film, and commercials.
